Thank you for your interest in the surveys administered to youth in the BBBS program. Big Brothers Big Sisters uses student surveys to measure the effectiveness of its program and the positive outcomes for students. Surveys are confidentially administrated and responses are de-identified and combined for program evaluation and outcome reporting.
Child Outcome Survey (COS)
Administered to youth 10 and under at the beginning of their match and then annually for Community Based and e-Mentoring matches and at the end of each school year for Site Based and mentor2.0 matches.
Youth Outcome Survey (YOS)
Administered to youth 11 years and older at the beginning of their match and then annually for Community Based and e-Mentoring matches and at the end of each school year for Site Based and mentor2.0 matches.
Strength of Relationship Survey (SOR)
The survey is an evaluation tool designed to capture data on relationship qualities that predict strength of relationship between each Big and Little.
Mentor2.0 End of Year Survey
For youth in the mentor2.0 program, this survey is administered at the end of each school year and is used to evaluate the program's effectiveness.
